Riggs-Gelasco Receives NIH-AREA Grant

The National Institutes of Health has awarded Dr. Pamela Riggs-Gelasco of the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry a $148,397 Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) grant to study Class IV ribonucleotide reductase. Undergraduate students will participate in her research project.
Dr. Riggs-Gelasco joined the College faculty in August 1998 after a post-doctoral appointment at M.I.T. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. She is also teh CofC Director for the NIH-BRIN program.
