SERMACS 2002 To Be Held in Charleston

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry is palying a major role in hosting the 2002 Southeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society. The meeting will be headquartered at the Westin Francis Marion Hotel. The South Carolina Section of the American Chemical Society is the host for the meeting. Jack Breazeale is serving as Administrative Chair and Rick Heldrich is the Facilities and Arrangements Chair. Other committe chairs are: Marion Doig (Technical Sessions), Jason Overby (Poster Sessions), Charles Beam (Undergraduate Research), Pamela Riggs-Gelasco (Special Events), Henry Donato (Public Relations), Frank Kinard (Sponsors),Gary Asleson (Support Services), and Jim Deavor (Webmaster).
