Roller Hockey
The CofC Roller Hockey club formed during the fall of 2006 for those students who enjoy the sport of hockey.
The team is
a member of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA), the
governing body of College Roller Hockey in the United States.
Over 200 schools are members and the league format is similar to that of
the NCAA, in that each school plays in a specific region and can qualify
for the national championship.
In our region
of the Southeast Collegiate Roller Hockey League, opponents could include
such schools as USC, UNC, Virginia Tech, Florida, Duke,
Georgia Tech, and Elon.
Tryouts are held early in the fall semester and again in the spring. As it stands now we are seeking to field two teams for our competitions.
