Special Topics Proposals

Faculty Curriculum Committee
Since the Registrar's Office keeps track of the offering of special topics
courses, you do not have to submit special topics proposals to the Faculty
Curriculum Committee. However, if you plan to eventually convert a
special topics course to a regular course, it might be helpful to examine
the Guidelines for New Course Proposals when you plan the course. A
special topics course under the same topic should not be offered more than
three times within five years. The Registrar's Office will notify the
department chair upon the third offering of such a course.
