Tommy Linstroth '04 is the Head of Sustainable Initiatives for Melaver in Savannah, GA, and he has a book coming out from the University of Vermont Press in November 2007, Local Action: The New Paradigm in Climate Change Policy. Sara (Saksewki) Windjue '03 works for the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP), University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point as the Energy Education Specialist. Sara recently was requested by Earth Passengers, an environmental education organization in Taiwan, to participate in a three-day teacher workshop in Nantou, Taiwan. At the workshop, teachers used KEEP materials to learn how they can infuse energy education into their curriculums. The Delta Education Foundation sponsored the workshop for 58 elementary and middle school teachers from all over the island. Sara presented the teachers with KEEP’s conceptual framework and engaged them in activities focused on why we need energy, developing energy resources, the effects of energy resource development, and managing energy resource use.

Cassie (Hodges) Larsen '01 reports that she is working on their hunting plantation (Little Creek Plantation, LLP) in Hampton, "raising several breeds of rare and endangered farm animals (most are found on the American Livestock Breeds Conservatory priority lists) and trying to figure out what niche of organic farming would be best suited to our site. Right now we are leaning towards heirloom fruit trees, and will hopefully have that project up and running by next spring."

Robin Humphreys '00 is currently an adjunct professor at the College of Charleston in the Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences. She is primarily teaching the Honors Geology and Environmental Geology lab courses, and is currently co-teaching a Historical Geology Course with Mitch Colgan, using a new method of teaching large classes.
