Advising Appointments:

Dr. Goodier is available to meet with advisees during her office hours and by appointment. Please email goodierb@cofc.edu at least 24 hours in advance to schedule your appointment. During registration, Dr. Goodier will post a sign up sheet on her door for appointment times. Please bring a printed copy of your most recent Degree Audit from Cougar Trail to your appointment.

Internships:

I strongly recommend students participate in some kind of internship for credit before graduation and I am happy to advise your internship during the spring, summer or fall. You should begin thinking about your internship the semester before you actually want to complete it. A full description of internship requirements as well as helpful hints for finding internships is available on the department website. You may also want to schedule an appointment with Kristal Cooper to help you identify the best site for your internship given your interests and abilities.

Independent Studies and Bachelor's Essays:

I am willing to work with self-motivated, hard working students on independent studies and Bachelor's Essays in areas related to my teaching and/or research interests. Projects typically include preparing a proposal, library research, data collection and a final paper. The aim of these projects is to further develop student understanding in a specific area of study and produce a potentially publishable piece of work.
