Phones and Network Connections
Telephones at the Grice Marine Laboratory are available for use by Faculty, Staff and Students. Phones are located in offices, laboratories, and rooms throughout GML. Phones should be used for College related business only.
Outside Line Access
Access outside lines by first dialing 9, then the number.
Long Distance Calls
Long distance calls may be made by faculty and staff using assigned account numbers. All others wishing to make long distance calls may do so using calling cards.
Troubleshooting Problems with Phones
Problems with phones should be directed to the Laboratory Manager.
Questions
Please direct specific questions concerning phone calls to the Administrative Specialist or the Laboratory Manager.
Network Connections
Network connections are provided in the computer laboratory and throughout the Grice Marine Laboratory. Use of computers and computer networks must conform to College of Charleston policies on the use of computers.
Tampering with the computer network in any way is strictly prohibited.
Network Problems
Problems with network connections should be reported as soon as possible to the Laboratory Manager.
