High School Seniors
If you are currently a High School Senior, follow
these steps to ensure a complete application:
- Complete the College of Charleston Undergraduate
Admissions Application, preferably using the online system. Applying
to the College online allows you to access the separate Honors College
Application online. On the regular application you will check the
box indicating that you want to apply to the Honors College.
- Complete the Honors College application. Students applying online
will receive a link to access the Honors College Application once
their regular application is submitted. The user name and password
will be the same as what was used for the regular application. If
you prefer to complete a paper application, you can print the PDF
version and mail it to the address indicated on the back of the application:
Honors College Application.
- A complete Honors College Application includes:
- All of your application materials can be sent directly to the Honors
College; however, if you have mailed some of your materials (transcripts,
test scores, etc.) to the Admissions Office, the Honors College can
obtain copies for your application.
- Beginning in September, the Honors College will send periodic reminders
to those applicants who are missing pieces of their application.
- Once your application is complete it will be reviewed by the Honors
Committee. You can expect a letter in the mail indicating your Honors
College admission decision. Letters are mailed beginning in late November
and continue through the spring semester.
- You will receive information via regular mail about scholarships
and housing in January and information regarding Freshman Orientation
starting in late May.
