The Benefits of Membership

As a Friend of the Library, you will receive a personal library card that provides access to the books, journals and databases in the library and carries check-out privileges from the collection. Friends can attend special classes designed and delivered by the professional library staff about relevant computer technologies, and take exclusive, curator-led tours of the rare books and manuscripts, including the renowned John Henry Dick Audubon collection. Members receive invitations to exceptional lectures and book discussions as well as a discount at the CofC Bookstore. At least twice a year, members who give $500 and above join prominent speakers from fields of art and literature, business, education, science and current affairs for a private reception and dinner at the Winthrop Roundtable.
