The Relationship Between Major and Current Job by Gender


Of the employed respondents from the Class of 2003, females (74%) were slightly more likely to see their jobs as being moderately to highly related to their major than males (68%).  When this same group was surveyed one year after graduation, women (61%) were more likely to state that they felt their jobs were moderately to highly related to their majors than men (50%).
