Survey Responses by Gender - 2005

Although there is no item on the alumni survey asking for the respondent’s gender, the male/female distribution was derived by matching the alumni survey file against the degrees file by social security numbers. This was possible as 77.2% (N=261) of the respondents provided their social security numbers. As shown in Table 2, a slightly higher percentage of females is represented in the survey group than is found in the total population of 2004-2005 graduates.
