The Relationship Between Major and Current Job by Gender


Of the employed respondents from the Class of 2001, females (63.4%) were a little more likely to see their jobs as being moderately to highly related to their major than males (57.9%).  When this same group was surveyed one year after graduation, women (60.8%) were more likely to state that they felt their jobs were moderately to highly related to their majors than men (55.6%).
