Survey Responses by School - 2001


    During 2000-2001, the College of Charleston awarded 1798 baccalaureate degrees to 1705 graduates. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences had the largest number of baccalaureate graduates (N=684), followed by School of Business  (N=335), School of Science and Mathematics (N=301), School of Education (N=236), and School of Arts (N=149).
    As Table 1 illustrates, the distribution of the survey population by school approximates the distribution in the target population. A total of 268 baccalaureate recipients (15.7% response rate) returned the alumni questionnaire.
