Survey Responses by School - 2003


    During 2002-2003, the College of Charleston awarded 2162 baccalaureate degrees to 2034 graduates. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences had the largest number of baccalaureate graduates (N=981), followed by School of Business  (N=388), School of Science and Mathematics (N=278), School of Education (N=225), and School of Arts (N=162).
    As Table 1 illustrates, the distribution of the survey population by school approximates the distribution in the target population. A total of 297 baccalaureate recipients (14.6% response rate) returned the alumni questionnaire.
