Survey Responses by School - 2000


    During 1999-2000, the College of Charleston awarded 1830 baccalaureate degrees to 1707 graduates. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences had the largest number of baccalaureate graduates (N=783), followed by the School of Business  (N=289), the School of Science and Mathematics (N=275), the School of Education (N=202), and the School of the Arts (N=158).

    As Table 1 illustrates, the distribution of the survey population by school approximates the distribution in the target population. A total of 325 baccalaureate recipients (17.8% response rate) returned the alumni questionnaire.
