Salary Information -- 2000

Tables 20 through 24 provide information on salaries paid to 2000 graduates immediately after graduation.  Eighty-two percent (N=268) of the respondents provided salary information.

Consistent with the 1998-1999 survey of alumni, male graduates reported higher average salaries than did their female counterparts (see Table 21).

Table 22 compares estimated average salaries for three geographical areas. The table suggests that graduates working in the Southeast, outside SC have highest average salaries ($27,500).  Graduates with jobs in the U.S., outside of the Southeast have the next highest average salary ($26,136).
