Over twenty
percent of the Class of 2000 provided information for this study. Table
5 shows the response distribution by post graduation status. Approximately
87% of the 2000 graduates are employed either full-time or part-time.
This is slightly higher than the survey results of this graduating class one year after
graduation (85%) .
A total of 35 unemployed respondents (10.3%) indicated that they are not
seeking employment. Only 8 graduates (2.4%) were unemployed and
seeking employment as of February 28, 2003. When compared
to the Class of 2000 one year after graduation, the percentage of graduates who are employed full-time
increased from 71.7% to 76.2%.
