Charleston Area Regional Transit Authority

The College of Charleston has partnered with the Charleston Area Regional Transit Authority, CARTA, to provide free service to all College of Charleston students and employees on all CARTA buses, including the Downtown Area Shuttles (DASH).

Simply show your valid Cougar Card (College ID) to board any CARTA bus free of charge.
