	About Us The Department of Philosophy of the College of Charleston offers both a B.A. degree as well as a minor in philosophy. The program provides thorough undergraduate training in philosophy, close contact with faculty, and a wide variety of stimulating intellectual and social activities. The Department has an accomplished faculty that is both professionally active and dedicated to teaching. The faculty represents a diverse group of scholarly interests, including such fields as ancient, modern, and 19th century philosophy, Asian philosophy, ethics, philosophy of biology, environmental philosophy, and philosophy of mind.
