Welcome to the MPA program at the College of Charleston.  For those seeking public service careers we offer an advanced professional education in a setting that emphasizes hands-on teaching and the values and culture of a selective, liberal arts institution. Areas of special emphasis include nonprofit administration, arts administration, urban policy and planning, and environmental policy.

OUR PUBLIC SERVICE MISSION
The program's mission is to enhance the qualifications and skills of individuals employed in the public sector in the South Carolina Lowcountry, to prepare pre-service students for careers in the public sector, and to prepare all students for the roles and responsibilities of the administrator in a democratic society.
