GRADUATION UPDATE

Complete the Graduation Update form if you have already completed a Graduation Application and need to update graduation information such as your expected graduation term, Graduation Address (aka: diploma mailing address) or if you have changed your major or degree program since applying to graduate. All other address changes should be made via Cougar Trail.

Contact the department to initiate any major, minor or degree changes. Students are responsible to inform us of changes in their graduation information, promptly, using this form.

If you made a mistake in determining your expected graduation term you will need to complete and submit this form before you will be eligible to register for future courses. To expedite processing, please be sure to complete and sign it. You may bring it to our office or fax it to: 843-953-6560.

COMMENCEMENT PARTICIPATION DOES NOT EQUAL GRADUATION

Graduation = Completing all requirements for a degree program

There are seven graduation terms
Spring (1), Maymester (2), May Evening (3), Summer I Day (4), Summer Evening (5), Summer II Day (6), Fall (7)
Graduation Application is required!


Commencement = Ceremony

There are two - December (aka: Fall/Mid-Year) and May (aka: Spring)
Participation is assumed but is optional—once you apply and are pre-cleared to graduate in the eligible term, your name will be on our commencement lists.
