David M. Bossman, earned graduate degrees from the Catholic University in Washington, D.C., the State University of New York at Albany, and Saint Louis University (Ph.D. in Biblical Language and Literature). Editor of Biblical Theology Bulletin since 1981, he applies cross-cultural analysis to the study of Christian and Jewish sources, contemporizing Jewish and Christian values, and cooperative partnerships. He is founding director of the Sister Rose Thering Endowment for Jewish-Christian Studies. He teaches courses such as Lessons from the Holocaust, Jewish and Christian Foundations for Social Service, Values for a Pluralistic Society, Jewish History I (Bible to Talmud) and II (Medieval and Modern), and Cross-Cultural Analysis for Jewish-Christian Studies. Bossman explores Christian and Jewish origins, history, and cross-cultural values in a contemporary settings.
