The purpose of SCEDS is to educate those who support the economic development in their communities by focusing on the knowledge and tools that will help South Carolina compete in today's competive environment. ![]() Franchise Management Certificate ProgramThe Franchise Management Certificate Program (FMCP) is a 2 ½ day seminar hosted by the Tate Center for Entrepreneurship at the College of Charleston, which will be held May 7-9, 2008. The seminar includes intensive franchise management training sessions. The FMCP is a joint program between the College of Charleston and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).
