Profile Conseula Francis earned her Ph.D. at the University of Washington in 2002. She came to the College of Charleston that same year, and teaches courses in American literature, African American literature, women's studies, and composition. She also coordinates the African American literature concentration in the graduate program. Her current research focuses on the critical reception of James Baldwin and his work. |
