Profile Anthony Varallo earned his MFA from the University of Iowa/Iowa Writers Workshop and his Ph.D. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He joined the College of Charleston in 2005, where he teaches courses in creative writing and composition and serves as fiction editor for Crazyhorse. His collection of short stories, This Day in History, is the winner of the 2005 John Simmons Short Fiction Award (U of Iowa Press). |
