This list is intended to include EVERYTHING published in the 20th century that might be useful for identifying N.A. freshwater gastropods, including all guidebooks, keys, monographs, systematic reviews, regional surveys, and checklists.  I've provided indexes by author, region, and taxon.

I've found 128 references thus far.  What have I missed?  I would be most grateful if everybody would take a couple minutes to review the list and email me any additions or corrections.

I hope to keep this bibliography current.  Please send me reprints of any new contributions you may make.
