Cougar Card News

The privilege to ride all CARTA routes free of charge continues to be a valuable benefit extended to College of Charleston students, faculty and staff.  Beginning Monday, September 1, 2008, riders are required to swipe a bus pass to utilize all routes except the Aquarium shuttle.   Aquarium shuttle riders should continue to show their Cougar Card to the bus driver.

All local and express passengers will need a bus pass. Simply stop by Cougar Card Services at 162 Calhoun St. in Berry Hall with your Cougar Card and a bus pass will be issued.  Should you misplace the pass, contact Cougar Card Services, 843 953-1100 or cougarcard@cofc.edu for a free replacement.

CARTA will not accept the Cougar Card as identification to ride the bus after Monday, September 1, 2008.  Please visit Cougar Card Services at your convenience  to obtain your pass, then sit back and enjoy the ride.  Schedule information may be obtained at www.ridecarta.com <http://www.ridecarta.com> .
