Printer Installation
These instructions will set up the Copy Center printers on your computer.* All print jobs are sent to a hold queue, where Copy Center staff will release the job according to the instructions provided on the Copy Center Request Form and IDT or the Cougar Card Request Form.
These installaton instructions are currently only accessible on Faculty and Staff computers on campus.
Printer Names
- COPY-BLACK for the black printer
- COPY-COLOR for the color printer*
*Note: If you are printing a document to the color printer that is larger than 8.5x11 (Letter), please select the Properties in the Print Menu, and change the Page Size to the size of your document.

PC Instructions
Please follow these instructions exactly to install the Copy Center Printers on your Windows computer.
- Please click on the following link. techfiles/COPY_CENTER_PRINTERS.BAT
- Please select "Run". The Copy Center printers will be automatically installed on your computer.
- Return your document, and select the appropriate printer when you are ready to print.*
- Please send only ONE copy of your document to print.
- Please see Copy Request Procedures to place your request on the production schedule.
If the above steps do not work, please use the following manual instructions to install the Copy Center printers on your computer, as well as notifying Helpdesk and the Copy Center regarding your technical problem.

Mac Instructions
Please follow these instructions exactly to install the Copy Center Printers on your Macintosh computer.
- Please click on the following link: techfiles/CopyCenter.dmg.
- Please double-click on OSX installer †
- Return to your document, and select the appropriate printer when you are ready to print.*
- Please send only ONE copy of your document to print.
- Please see Copy Request Procedures to place your request on the production schedule.
If the above steps do not work, please use the following manual instructions to install the Copy Center printers on your computer, as well as notifying Helpdesk and the Copy Center regarding your technical problem.
