Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle Grades
Education Majors
Mentoring Program

The purpose of this program is to pair senior and junior students in the Department of Early, Elementary, and Middle Level Education with sophomore and freshman education majors in an effort to provide help and assistance in their first two years before they are officially admitted to our department. Anyone interested in being a mentor who is a senior or junior currently attending the College of Charleston in EDEE can apply. As well, any freshman or sophomore interested in becoming a teacher at the early, elementary, or middle school level can apply to have a mentor assigned to them.

Please contact Dr. Diana Treahy at treahyd@cofc.edu if you are interested in participating in this experience.
