College of Charleston athletic teams have achieved success in a variety of collegiate sports, including men’s and women’s sailing (coed national champions 1986, ’06, ’07), baseball (Southern Conference champions 2004, ’05, ’06, '07); men’s basketball (Southern Conference champions 1999), women’s volleyball Southern Conference champions 2001, ’02, ’03, ’04, ’05, ‘06) and women’s equestrian competition.

Not everyone attending the College of Charleston will play on one of the 19 Division I NCAA athletic teams, but you can participate in any one of over a dozen intramural and club sports.
