Foursquare is a location-based social networking application that you can access through an app on your smart phone. Check-in to locations to let your friends know where you are and complete the tips.
Make sure you’re following the College – so you can unlock our badges:
- Campus Explorer - for checking in at 10 different campus locations
- Munchies - for checking in at five different campus dining halls
- Smells Like Team Spirit - for checking into five different sports venues
- Bookworm Bender - for visiting a library after midnight
- Quad Squatter - for 10 check-ins at the quad or commons area
Check-in to the College’s venues so you can win prizes on Mayor’s Day!
The mayor of the following venues at noon on the 15th of each month in 2011 will win the prize listed below. To obtain your prize, you must e-mail socialmedia@cofc.edu within 24 hours and list the venue of which you are the mayor. ANYONE can earn a Mayor’s Day prize!

Find Clyde and snap a photo!
Find Clyde the Cougar by March 3, 2011 and snap his photo – then upload it via foursquare. Clyde will pick his favorite photo and the winner will get College of Charleston gear! This contest is open to ANYONE.
