What goes on outside of the classroom is an important aspect of every student’s college experience. At the College of Charleston, students can choose from a broad menu of clubs and organizations (more than 100 are formally organized) that range from Greek life groups to intramural teams to student government and student media groups. If you don’t find an extracurricular organization that suits your interests, there’s always the option of starting one of your own. Apart from those choices, Charleston’s culturally active urban environment offers numerous choices for entertainment, be it movies, music, drama, art or comedy. Additionally, there are superb opportunities on and off campus for recreational activities, both indoor and out.
