Agnes Ayme-Southgate

Agnes Ayme-Southgate received her B.S. and Ph.D. in Biology from the Department of Molecular Biology at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. She also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research interests include: The assembly and function of muscle cells using Drosophila melangaster (fruitfly) as a model system, and the formation of the complex protein system known as the myofibril during development.
