Carol Ann Davis received her M.F.A. in Poetry Writing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She taught at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, Stonehill College, and Endicott College before moving to Charleston in 2000 to begin teaching at the College of Charleston. She teaches courses in poetry writing at all levels and in literary publishing, with occasional forays into the teaching of contemporary poetry. In addition, she also edits the literary journal Crazyhorse and directs the Creative Writing Concentration within the English major.
Carol Ann Davis has recently been published in The Southern Review, Denver Quarterly, Agni and The Threepenny Review. Her first book of poetry, Psalm, was runner-up for the 2005 Dorset Prize and was published by Tupelo Press in 2007.
