Beverly E. J. Diamond
Mathematics

1992 Distinguished Research Award


Dr. Diamond joined the College of Charleston faculty in 1984 as Assistant Professor of Mathematics. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 1988 and to Professor in 1993.

She currently serves as Associate Provost.

Dr. Diamond received her B.A. in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island, and her M.S. in Mathematics and Psychology and Ph.D. in Mathematics/Topology from the University of Manitoba.

Before coming to the College, Dr. Diamond was Lecturer at the University of Manitoba. During her tenure here, she has also served as Visiting Faculty and Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Delaware; and as Visiting Faculty at Montana State University.

Dr. Diamond was Program Director, Mathematics, for the National Science Foundation from 1996 until 1998.
