Edmund Lee Drago

Edmund Lee Drago received his B.A. in History from the University of Santa Clara in 1964, and both his M.A. and Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Berkley. His teaching fields include: U.S. History, Survey (Ancient to Present) of European History, and World History. He has taught at the College of Charleston since 1975. Dr. Drago’s publications include Hurrah for Hampton: Black Red Shirts in South Carolina during Reconstruction (University of Arkansas Press, 1998) and Preserving and Using Your Community’s Past (South Carolina Department of Archives and History, Produced by the Publications Service Area, 1996).
