2000 Distinguished Advising Award

Dr. Hass, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Legal Studies at the College of Charleston, continues to teach undergraduate and graduate school classes in Business Law with an emphasis on ethics. She served as Director of Women’s Studies at the College 1995 – 1997.

Her research emphasis was employment law for business.

Dr. Hass earned her B.A. from Clemson University, and her M.A.T., M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Hass has taken an active role in the Academy of Legal Studies in Business since 1980, serving as President in 1994-95 and as President of the Southeast Academy in 1986.
