1993 Distinguished Service Award

Dr. Haynsworth came to the College of Charleston when he completed his education in 1970. He taught in the Department of Mathematics until he assumed the position of Dean of Graduate Studies in 1998.

Dr. Haynsworth earned his B.A. in Mathematics from the University of South Florida and his Ph.D. from the University of Miami.

He was the 2005 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award of the Southeastern Section of the Mathematics Association of America.
