2005 Distinguished Advising Award

Dr. Joyce Kille-Marino joined the faculty at the College of Charleston in 1998 as Instructor of Biology after teaching in an adjunct capacity since 1994. She was Senior Instructor from her promotion in August, 2004 until she left the College in 2005.

Dr. Kille-Marino served as attending veterinarian for the College and as a member of the Institutional Animal Care and use Committee. She was the lead advisor for students seeking admission to professional schools in health professions. For several years, she directed the Lowcountry Science Fair.

Dr. Kille-Marino earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, her Ph.D. from West Virginia University Medical Center, and her V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
