David S. Mann received his B.A. in Political Science from Cal-State Long Beach, an M.A. from the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D. from Washington State University. He taught at Washington State University as a graduate student.
Dr. Mann’s teaching interests emphasize public law; criminal justice, constitutional law, civil liberties, judicial process, and jurisprudence. His research interests include state government policies, judicial politics, criminal justice, and political behavior. He is co-editor of two books, with Luther F. Carter: Government in the Palmetto State and Government in the Palmetto State: Toward the 21st Century. He has also published articles and reviews in Women’s Law Journal, Journal of Dental Education, American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, and Political Science Book Review, as well as contributed to chapters in books on Court Management in the United States, Reapportionment Politics, and Public Policy Formation.
