Martha W. Runey received her A.B. from Catawba College, her M.A. from Wake Forest University, and her Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. She is currently an Associate Professor Emeritus with the Biology Department at the College of Charleston. Some of her research interests include: Gametogenesis and fertilization nematodes of amphibians, and distribution and intensity of parasitic and infections in estuarine environments.
