CLARA J. HODGES has been employed at the College of Charleston since September 1991 when she began working in the Office of Undergraduate Studies as a receptionist.  In 1993, she moved to the Office of Academic Affairs and began working as an Administrative Specialist and the main contact for the Provost and Associate Provost.  While handling information pertaining to the Provost's correspondence, calendar, and travel, she also serves as office support for key processes and projects for which the Office of Academic Affairs bears primary responsibility. She serves as staff support for the Administrative Coordinator in preparing faculty contract letters and in maintaining faculty, department, and program directors' personnel files. She provides support for all external evaluations, accreditation, Commission on Higher Education program studies, Awards Ceremonies, and Commencement. 

Clara graduated from Gordon H. Garrett High School in North Charleston, South Carolina, in 1972 and has attended numerous workshops/seminars pertaining to Office Administrative Assistant Technology.
