Interdisciplinary Studies minors are designed to enrich and expand our students' horizons by breaking down the barriers between the traditional disciplines. Interdisciplinary Studies minors acquaint students with a subject or region of the world from the perspective of multiple disciplines in a structured course of study. Faculty from most schools and departments participate in Interdisciplinary Studies creating a truly global intellectual community. Many Interdisciplinary Studies minors add to the unique College of Charleston experience with study abroad and internship opportunities which exploit their cross disciplinary nature.
