Hi! My name is Christopher Gay, originally from Brooklyn, N.Y. Leaving the college in 2003 was a difficult departure because of the many facets that I fell in love with at this institution. While a student at CofC, I had the opportunity to work in the annual fund raising department for three years. I had a significant role in raising the necessary funds to help facilitate the many projects and buildings on and around the campus. Outside of the classroom I was involved with Greek Life, The LINKS Mentoring program, SPECTRA and the College of Charleston’s Gospel Choir.

Now that I am a graduate of CofC and “alum,” I have seen the benefits of being exposed to a liberal arts college with a diverse population, and I want to do everything I can to ensure that others are given the same opportunity. I know how important and stressful it can be to make that final decision on choosing a college that is right for you.
