Application Checklist

1. Submit online application and indicate the Second Degree Candidate category. Be sure to apply by the posted application deadlines.
2. Pay application fee.
3. Request official transcripts from all previous college/university Registrar’s Office(s) be sent to College of Charleston Office of Admissions. A Transcript Request Form is located on our website.
4. If applicable, have official AP/IB/CLEP/Dantes scores sent to the Office of Admissions. We can accept scores on your official high school transcript or from the College Board.
5. An essay is not required. If you wish to share information with the admissions committee, please use the Personal Statement section of the application.
6. Allow 3–4 four weeks for processing of a complete application. You may check your application status via CougarTrail.
7. You will receive written notification of your admission decision.

9. Accepted students will be asked to pay a tuition deposit to confirm their intention to enroll.
10. Official transfer credit evaluations will be posted on CougarTrail upon completion.
11. New Student Programs will then mail Orientation information. This is when you will register for courses for your entry semester.
