Please read this information carefully as it will allow you to confirm your intention to enroll at the College and to reserve on-campus housing if desired.

We encourage you to pay your deposit online. However, if you prefer, you can printout this page and send us a check (made payable to the College of Charleston). Please note that your deposit will be dated based on the date it is received in the Office of Admissions.

If you would like to attend the College but do not want on-campus housing, your deposit is $100. If you have questions regarding the advance tuition deposit, please contact the Office of Admissions at (843) 953-5670 or admissions@cofc.edu. This deposit will be applied towards your tuition.

If you would like to attend the College and want to request on-campus housing, your deposit is $200. Please note that this $200.00 deposit will be credited to your account in the following manner: $100.00 will be applied as a tuition deposit and $100.00 towards a Spring housing deposit. If you have questions regarding housing, please contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing at (843) 953-5523 or reslife@cofc.edu.

Housing assignments are made based on a space available basis during the Spring semester. Since housing cannot be guaranteed, all room assignments are made based on the tuition and housing deposit date. Please note that all deposits are dated based on the date they are received in our office. Should you choose not to attend the College, you may request a refund no later than January 1st. In order to request a refund you must contact the Office of Admissions in writing either via email at admissions@cofc.edu, by fax at (843) 953-6322 or by mail no later than January 2nd. No deposits will be refunded after the January 2nd deadline.
