- BATTERY Project
- The College of Charleston's initiative to adopt and install a new suite of computer programs that will provide greater access for faculty, staff and students, and improve the operations of the College in areas such as admissions, financial aid, student records, finance and advancement.
- ERP
- Short for enterprise resource planning, ERP is a business management system that integrates all facets of the business such as finance, human resources, student and alumni services.
- Portal
- A portal is a Web site or service that offers a broad array of resources and services, such as e-mail, forums, search engines and online shopping. When fully implemented, a portal will offer students, faculty and staff a customizable, single sign-on location to access information of importance.
