The Better Things To Docampaign was designed through a collaborative effort of College of Charleston students and staff to provide an alternative to high-risk drinking and drug use on campus.

The services offered for substance abuse prevention and treatment are a service of the Counseling and Substance Abuse Center. We work together for the prevention and treatment of substance abuse on the College of Charleston campus and the surrounding community. We have a community coalition which consists of members of local schools, county prevention efforts, local churches, parents and students. Our staff is made up of full time staff members, a graduate assistant, interns and undergraduate students (Peer Health Educators) from the College of Charleston.
