Bio Keith J. Lindenburg Director, National Public Relations Deloitte LLP Keith Lindenburg is Director, National Public Relations for Deloitte. In this role, Keith leads the external communications function in the U.S., including media relations, crisis communications, and executive eminence. His specific areas of PR responsibility include industries, functions, talent, regions and community involvement. He reports to the deputy chief executive officer of Deloitte LLP. Keith is a seasoned leader who brings 25 years of experience building communications strategies for some of the world’s most recognized brands. With a background that spans both the corporate communications and PR agency environments, Keith’s areas of expertise include strategic planning, reputation management, executive counsel, business development and internal and external communications. He joined Deloitte in 2005 from the “PR Agency of the Year,” Waggener Edstrom where he was executive vice president and general manager of their Eastern Region. As the leader of the Eastern Region, Keith built Waggener Edstrom’s business in the New York and Boston markets and was responsible for the region’s largest account, MasterCard International. Prior to that, Keith was executive vice president and general manager for the Eastern Region at the PR industry’s largest agency, Weber Shandwick. Keith was also vice president of corporate communications at IBM Corporation, where he led IBM’s award-winning corporate intranet team, and directed operations for the corporate communications team. He first worked for the “Big Blue” PR team in the early nineties and rejoined IBM in 1999 after six years at Brodeur Worldwide, where he was general manager for that PR agency’s Americas business. At Brodeur, Keith managed the global relationship for IBM, the agency’s largest account; was responsible for seven U.S. offices; and directed the firm’s expansion into Latin America. During his career as a communications counselor, Keith has advised senior management at many industry leaders, including Deloitte, IBM, MasterCard, AMD, CA, Capgemini, Research in Motion, Eastman Chemical, The Thomson Corporation, Sharp Electronics, Hyperion Software (Oracle), Sprint, Pitney Bowes, Minolta, Symbol Technologies (Motorola) and Guinness. Keith is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and serves on the College of Charleston advisory council on communications. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from Fairfield University. |
