Sarah A. Peterson

Amegy Bank
Senior Vice President, Corporate and Investor Communications

Sarah Peterson is responsible for directing the Company's external and internal communications programs including investor relations. She is also responsible for community relations activities, charitable giving and the political action committee.

Prior to joining Amegy Bank, Ms. Peterson was with Waste Management as vice president of corporate communications reporting to the chairman and CEO. Ms. Peterson previously served as a Senior Managing Director and General Manager of Hill & Knowlton's Houston office and was Senior Vice President, Marketing, Greater Houston Division of Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation.

In addition, she was Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for Texas Commerce Bank N.A., which is now JPMorgan Bank and held the position of Vice President, Corporate Communications for St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital.

Ms. Peterson began her career in journalism, first at the Houston Chronicle as a feature writer and later as a correspondent and the southwest bureau chief of U.S. News & World Report. Ms. Peterson has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Houston .
